Any woman is eligable for membership in the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution who is not less than 18 years of age, and who is lineally descended from a man or woman who, with unfailing loyalty to the cause of the American Independence, served as a sailor or soldier or civil officer in one of the several Colonies or states, or as a recognized Patroit, or rendered material aid thereto: provided the applicant is personally aceptable to the chapter.
Chapter meetings
will be held on the second Saturday of each month, September-April,
at 10:15 A.M. unless otherwise noted, at The Oaks Restaurant
in Hiawassee, GA. These are luncheon meetings and
require reservations. Please call 706-379-2533, or email
rfwolfer@windstream.net by the previous Saturday to reserve. Check
your Chapter Yearbook for other meeting locations. Each regular meeting
may include a Devotional, Ritual, President General's message (from the
current DAR Magazine), and a three-minute National Defence Report, as
well as a committee minute.
